Hairdressing

Our qualified hairdressers will arrange a suitable appointment for in our fully equipped salon.

Newspapers & Journals

A wide selection of newspapers and journals are delivered to the home daily. The local newspaper is available weekly.

Postal Services

Personal mail will be delivered to the resident’s room on its arrival and we will attend to any mail that a resident requires posted.

Telephones

Telephone access is available and a resident has the opportunity to have private telephone calls. Some residents may choose to use E-mail or Skype. This service is also available.

Toiletries

Essential toiletries are provided by the home although many relatives and residents prefer to purchase toiletries of their own choosing.

Laundry and Housekeeping

All personal clothing is laundered on the premises. Dry-cleaning can be arranged by the home and incurs an additional charge.

Bedrooms are cleaned daily and bed linen is changed weekly or as required. 

Services to set your mind at ease

Visitors

The home operates an open visiting policy; visitors and children are welcome at any time. A resident may wish to see their visitors in any of the lounges or in the privacy of their own room, the choice is theirs; our catering staff will prepare and serve refreshments with home baking on request at a modest cost.

Pastoral Visits

Visits from Chaplains of all denominations can be arranged on request. Religious services are performed periodically with attendance being optional.

Holidays

Should a resident intend going on holiday we would assist in preparation. The office will be happy to advise on any financial matters.

Aromatherapy

Sessions can be arranged with a visiting aromatherapist for additional charge.
