Torrance Lodge is situated in the village of Hurlford, on the outskirts of Kilmarnock.
In 1955 Misses Mary and Elizabeth Torrance left money to Kilmarnock Infirmary. This endowment was used to convert Torrance House into a convalescent home. In 1985 Torrance House became Torrance Lodge Nursing Home and was extended over the years to accommodate 88 residents.
Accommodation at Torrance Lodge is spread over 3 units Arran, Buchanan and Culzean, all on the ground floors. The home offers specialist nursing care for older adults who have a long-term condition or an additional nursing need.
Our bedrooms, all of which have en-suite facilities, are light and spacious and have been designed to accommodate individual requirements.
